Coach Bursary Application Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming an Approved Badminton England Coach through our coach bursary scheme. Before applying please read the following:
In order to support and deliver our variety of programmes and support club development we want to ensure we have a suitably qualified workforce in place. We recognise that there are many skilled Level 1 assistant coaches who work within Badminton on a regular basis and would make excellent Level 2 coaches. We also recognise that within the Badminton community there are people suited and ready to start their coaching journey by stepping onto the coaching pathway by completing the UKCC Level 1 Award for Assistant coaches in Badminton. Our coaching pathway outlines that level 1 assistant coaches can support the delivery of coaching sessions whilst delivering some of programmes such as No Strings Badminton and SmashUp! Level 2 qualified coaches can lead technical and tactical sessions within clubs as well as deliver some of our programmes such as Essentials and The Racket Pack.
