Relevance to the Next Library®Conference Berlin 2018

Provide a brief explanation (max. 200 words) of how this workshop will appeal to the participants, both regarding content and format of the session as well as the themes of Next Library® Conference Berlin 2018

Preferred number of participants

We can accommodate sessions that have anywhere from 20 to 350 participants, but we do have room size limits. Please indicate the preferred number of participants. If you are not sure, just state so. In case you plan a session with less than 20 people please let us know. It is possible to figure out an adapted format.

Equipment needs

Please list your equipment needs and room set-up requirements here.

On-boarding of additional attendees after session-start
Please let us know whetheryou think it’s possible for participants to enter the session (and discussion) once it has started (e.g. after 20 minutes or even later), or is the set-up of the session such that it makes no sense for people to join in later?

Involvement of the public (optional)

As we are trying to encourage the involvement of the public into certain aspects and moments of Next Library® Conference Berlin 2018, feel free to come up with a proposal how members of the public could play a role in your interactive session. (This is not a must, but an option, and we will check feasibility together with you.) If you think your session would benefit from the involvement of the public, please try to be as specific as possible in describing who, how, etc. Would you rather have a few students to participate, or non-users? Would they have to prepare something in advance or not? What is the preferred ratio between conference attendees vs. members of the public? Etc.
