Hardly any other beverage and its preparation have undergone as many crucial and interesting developments over the past decades as this so-called "brown gold". The SEVERIN company has been a critical part of these changes since 1951, when automatic coffee machines first became part of the product selection. With the introduction of its fully automatic coffee machines, SEVERIN is right on top of the latest developments and understands consumer tastes.

SEVERIN continues as the market leader for traditional filter coffee machines. "Coffee has been among our core competencies for over 60 years. The introduction of the fully automatic S2 coffee machine was the logical next step in this segment. And this year we will continue with the 'Coffee and SEVERIN‘ success story by introducing a very interesting new item for our retail and consumer partners," explains Rudolf Schulte, Managing Director of this traditional German company based in Sundern. "Our fully automatic coffee machines - on a par with our competitors’ machines - exactly meet consumer tastes. It's still true that most coffee is consumed at home. But more and more often, coffee connoisseurs prepare a fresh cup whenever they want during the day. The global trend toward being able to choose from a selection of coffee drinks will also continue to expand in the coming years. And the requirements for the machines are high as well: simple operation and cleaning, but above all, really good coffee. It's our goal to meet these customer expectations. The S2+ is a very good example of that."
Good taste, very simple
The S2+ by SEVERIN meets coffee connoisseurs' expectations with just a touch of the hand. All of the functions can be seen at a glance on the high contrast full graphic display. First, you can set the desired coffee, water, and milk froth levels precisely and then you can use Quick Selection to specify your personal favourites in a flash. Then you just need to use the E-select rotary dial to choose the desired coffee drink and, before you know it, the perfect cup of coffee with just the right "crema" is ready for you to enjoy. Two high-performance pumps, a ceramic grinding gear with five selectable grinding levels and the aroma-protection seal of the coffee bean container ensure this excellent coffee quality. Cappuccino, latte macchiato and café au lait turn out perfectly thanks to the push button-operated, height-adjustable coffee-milk spout - you don't even have to move the cup or glass.
The S2+ is impressive, with an outstanding price to performance ratio at a price of EUR 629.00 and "model" dimensions. At 24 x 35 x 33 (width x height x depth in cm), the S2+ is one of the most compact, fully automatic coffee machines currently available on the market. The S2+ is available in silver, high-gloss black and metallic red at specialised retail stores. SEVERIN also offers the thermo milk container ZB 8684 as a matching accessory for the fully automatic coffee machines. The stainless steel/black container keeps 0.5 L milk cool for hours.
