We are pleased to have children of all ages in our Worship Services, and we encourage their participation; however, we understand that some children are not quite ready for Big Church, so we provide the following services.

We welcome Coach Tom Simpson to our pulpit today. Tom is the Men and Women’s tennis coach at Coker College in Hartsville. Tom served on staff at Smith Stearns Tennis Academy in Hilton Head, and as the head professional and tennis director at several tennis clubs in Columbia, SC and Hilton Head, including The Rockbridge Club, the Spring Valley Country Club, the Forest Lake Country Club and the Port Royal Racquet Club.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he competed in the NCAA Division II singles and doubles championships in 1979. He also holds a Masters of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University.
Tom has been married for 35 years to Felicia. They have two children, Keely who is married with four children living in Columbia, and Billy who is married with one child living in Greensboro, NC. Tom was the associate pastor at Grace Community Church on Hilton Head Island for 17 years and lead pastor for their contemporary service. He was also associate pastor at two other churches, international director for Harvesters International Ministries, and involved with World Tennis Ministries, FCA and Athletes in Action.
Tom is a man of Faith and Character who is not afraid to share that faith with our college generation. Welcome him today.
