Storage

Access School Board training for existing members not yet trained and for new members.
Negotiate dates, venue with Turquoise Coastal Schools Alliance School Board members.
School Training sources annually for members.

Handover
Office bearers or to return all relevant materials pertaining to the position prior to vacating the position.

As new families enrol at Leeman Primary School, a designated School Board member will be allocated to meet and greet the family and discuss the Parent Information Booklet available from the school.
Feedback from School Board member via a brief survey (three or four questions).

Support for current parents
Current parents to be contacted directly when feedback is required for school-based issues (e.g. carnivals, surveys). / Allocated School Board members.
Promotion of School
School Board member(s) to organise for Snag Island News to be given promotional materials and articles about school celebrations at the end of each term (e.g. sporting and academic achievements and community projects etc).
School Board members to promote school improvements or achievements and importance of attendance across the community throughout the year (maintaining confidentiality where necessary).
Community feedback to be sought to indicate knowledge of school improvements and achievements. School Board to design feedback plan in term one 2016. / Allocated School Board members.

PATHS Team
* PATHS training to be organised for parents/caregivers and interested School Board members/ P & C members. Invitation to join team in newsletter or in individual letters.
* PATHS meetings to be held once a term (minimum). PATHS team devise an annual action plan.
Promote Annual Expo at school in term two to families, community members and local agencies (e.g. CRC, Police, Shire, Silver Chain).
* Annual Expo to be presented by students and not staff to showcase student work in school-based programs: CHAT, PATHS, Healthy Eating Project, Cyber Bullying.
* Resources and for promotional materials to be available from school (e.g. banner, community posters at seaside Supplies, Post Office etc).
* Promotion to include: activities / booklet for parents & students; homework cards showing handy PATHS strategies; newsletter blurb each fortnight;
* Community feedback to be sought to indicate pre and post understanding of PATHS.
* PATHS team to design feedback plan in term one 2016. / Organise PATHS training (currently under consultation with School Psychologist for term 1, 2016)
