Keys for Success in Physical Science

ü  Have a positive attitude!

ü  I am here to help you succeed, so feel free to ask me for help. I am available before/ after school and planning period is 4th hour see me in my room.

ü  Keep clear and complete notes that you understand. Do not simply copy notes blindly without clear though of comprehension.

ü  ASK lots of questions. If you are unclear about something from the textbook, lab, or from discussion ASK.

ü  Show clear, complete work for all problems in notes and on homework, quizzes, and tests. Circle or box your answer so that it may be easier found. (If it is not obvious what your answer is, it can easily be counted wrong).

ü  Start studying for tests early. By studying and reviewing each night you are not only helping to prepare for the test more effectively, you are also more prepared for class each day and any quizzes that may be given.

ü  I also reserve the right to make adjustments to the syllabus and will acknowledge students awareness when changes occur.

As a student of Broken Bow High School; ______have read and comprehended the syllabus for Physical Science. I will engage myself to follow the standards to which Mrs. O’Gorman’s syllabus has portrayed.
