FEBRUARY11: FINANCE 101 "THE BASICS",8:30 – 10:30 am - Designed for those individuals who have questions or concerns and need guidance on how to properly and effectively handle their finances. This class will cover basic budgeting, debt management, credit management and other financial issues.

FEBRUARY17-18: BOOTS 2 BUSINESS,8 am – 4 pm -This 2-day workshop is designed as an experience to assist you in realizing your entrepreneurial dreams and aspirations - whatever they may be! You will develop a set of skills and competencies focused on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, innovation, and small business management. This course is about dreaming and action.
FEBRUARY18: YOU'RE DEPLOYING...WHAT?, 12 – 1 pm - This workshop is designed to assist couples with the challenges many face due to deployment. Discussion and group exercises will address normal concerns. Couples will identify their individual concerns, and then apply resources and tools to assist with effective communication, problem-solving, and self-action strategies regarding concerns.
FEBRUARY19: CAREER ASSESSMENT,8 – 11 am -- This workshop uses the MBTI and interest, values, and skills inventories to provide a basic foundation of self-assessment as it relates to your career choices. Participants will have a better understanding of themselves in order to make career decisions.
FEBRUARY20: SIBSHOP,10 am – 2 pm -- This 4 hour quarterly event is designed as a support group for siblings of children with special needs (family must be enrolled in EFMP). Open only to children 8-13 years old. Activities and discussions aimed at assisting children with challenges involved with having a special needs sibling. Lunch is included.
FEBRUARY20: KEY SPOUSE (KS) INITIAL TRAINING,8:30 am – 2:30 pm -- The KS contributes to unit readiness by promoting efficient and effective communication between unit leadership, KSM, and unit spouses/families. The KS is a direct link to the CC when establishing and building unit resilience and a sense of community. Training is critical to the KS effectively carrying out these official duties. KSs cannot act in an official capacity until the initial training has been completed. The initial training consists of 9 standardized modules.
FEBRUARY22-26: 2016 MILITARY SAVES WEEK,"Set a Goal, Make a Plan, Save Automatically" -- During this week, the A&FRC staff will focus on helping you get financially fit. Monday - Friday, come on in and talk with one of our financial counselors and get a FREE credit report and FICO score.
FEBRUARY23: SAVINGS BASICS:BUILDING A SOLID FOUNDATION,11 am &5 pm -- Learn basic money management skills. Setting goals, emergency savings, budgets, spend plans, establishing credit, long term savings and other financial items will be discussed.
