The geography and climate affected how the tribes built their homes because it impacted what resources were available to them to build. For example, the Iroquois were surrounded by trees so they were able to build their homes out of logs. However, the Pueblo did not have trees; they had access to clay and were able to build adobes made of clay bricks. Also, the climate would impact how they built their homes because they would want the home to keep them warm in cold weather or cool in hot weather.
