General Information
Technomad Inc., founded in 1995, is the leading manufacturer of purpose-built high-powered weatherproof loudspeakers and PA systems for military and government use. Technomad loudspeakers incorporate extremely high-quality transducers (sound generating elements), built into thick rotationally molded enclosures that are highly resistant to impact, abuse, temperature extremes, and moisture.
The Technomad WeatherTech™ grill system allows the loudspeakers to be operated outdoors in any weather conditions. Technomad loudspeakers can be permanently installed on ships, in coastal environments, and in shore-based military facilities. Technomad Military PA Systems are self-casing: they form their own flight cases for secure transport and storage. The PA Systems offer unmatched voice clarity, projection, and music reproduction under the most challenging conditions, and are highly intelligible even in noisy environments. Technomad military PA systems include matched amplifiers, mixers, CD/Tape players, microphones which are delivered ready-to-use. No audio experience is required to setup and operate a Technomad military PA System.

commercial off-the-shelf full-range weatherproof loudspeakers that meet this specification.
Technomad Military PA Systems incorporate a number of unique, patented, patent-pending, and proprietary features which deliver superior weatherproof and logistical performance as compared to other commercial brands. Technomad systems offer outstanding speech and music clarity, are highly reliable, lightweight, networkable, easy to setup, and can be used for fixed, mobile, and shipboard audio applications. They are the best functional choice for many military audio applications, and substituting other products would result in a less satisfactory / lower performance outcome. Other products do not network with Technomad networked PA systems, so a substitution would degrade the performance of a networked Technomad PA system.
