TRINITY CHRISTMAS SOCIAL: The Fun-Raising Committee is having Trinity’s Christmas Social on Saturday, December 6th from 4:30– 7:30 p.m. It will be a time to socialize, eat and have great fun. We are planning on having an “Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest” so please put your creative skills into this project by either making one or purchasing one to win the prize! The evening will also include a silent and live auction and a “barrel” (grabbelton)for children to dig for a small prize. We are also hoping to test some auctioneering skills by having a “Best Auctioneer” contest. Please help by donating items for the auctions, small prize items for children 5 and under and over 5 for the "grabbelton" and/or bake table items. For food we ask that you take either a salad or dessert for 8 – 10 people and the Fun-Raising Committee will take care of the rest. The cost will be $15 per person, children 6 - 12 will be $10 each and children 5 and under will be free. We will be in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, November 23 for you to sign up and pay for this event. If you have any questions and/or able to volunteer for this event please contact one of the committee members.
BABY SHOWER: We would like to have a shower for Katie VanGinhoven (baby Jack) and Erin Visser (Baby Adam) on Tuesday,November 25at 7:00 in the fellowship hall. Come out for an evening of fellowship as we welcome these new members to our congregation! Please bring some food to share. Sign up online or talk to Carita Hofstede for more information. BIBLES FOR MISSIONS THRIFT STORE: Is located on Stony Plain Road and 152 St. We generate income for the Bible League of Canada to provide literacy training and distribute and place Bibles, while serving people locally with dignity and respect by demonstrating the love of Christ. We operate 6 days a week from 9:30 to 4:30 (closed Sundays and Holidays). Ourimmediate request is to have new volunteers join us, especially for Tuesday and Friday mornings.
