Please join us in celebrating the beginning of the 2014 Holiday Season. The 2014 Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, November 29th and, with your help, it will be the best one ever!
You can help by being a Parade Sponsor with a tax deductible $100 donation to the Bad Axe Christmas Parade. Your sponsorship will keep the parade moving forward, and provide a variety of advertising opportunities for your business or organization. You can also participate by Entering a Float in this year’s parade.

Note: If entering a float please do not have a Santa; he will appear as a guest of honor on his own float. All floats must be lighted in some manner. Candy can be handed out, but not thrown out along the parade route.

The holiday season is almost here and we want you to get in the spirit by decorating your store front windows! Every year all of you do such a wonderful job transforming the downtown area into a Christmas wonderland and we need you to do it again! The theme for this year’s Christmas Parade is “A Classic Bad Axe Christmas”. You may participate in the theme, but it isn’t required. We are looking for as many businesses downtown and beyond to get into the holiday spirit. If you would like to have a picnic table set up in front of your business let us know and we will have one delivered by Saturday, November 29th and feel free to serve hot chocolate!Please help us make this the best Christmas season yet! Lineup from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Parade – 6:30 p.m.
- Parade numbers will be provided on site in the Bad Axe Middle School parking lot, you will need to come to the registration table located in front of the Bad Axe Middle School gymnasium
- All units will be listed by the name of the organization. When registering – use that name.
- It is important that you are at your float by 6:00 p.m., as the parade starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.
- The Bad Axe Middle School is a drug free area, please be respectful of our school.

Christmas Cook-Off
Chamber Members and Friends of the Chamber, we would like to cordially invite you to participate in our First Classic Bad Axe Christmas Cook-off, how exciting! What do you need to do to participate? Fill out the attached form and you will be entered in the cook-off which will be tasted and judged the day of the Classic Bad Axe Christmas Parade, November 29, 2014. Tastings may happen at your place of business or you can request a space at one of the Downtown Merchants business establishments. All participants will have theie recipes published in a cookbook and sold, proceedings will benefit the annual Holiday parade. The winner will be recognized in the cookbok and will receive free dues for the Chamber for a year!
