Sales Professional Form [Categories 32-35]

Category 32 – Sales Rookie of the Year

Candidate must have no more than 18 months of licensed experience in new-home sales. Applies to lead or secondary agent.

Category 33 – Sales Veteran of the Year

Candidate must have a minimum of 20+ total years of licensed experience in new-home sales.

Category 34 – Sales Professional of the Year

Team or Individual that has overcome sales challenges, excelled at home financing, building referrals, handled closings smoothly, construction and escrow coordination, and ultimate buyer satisfaction. Candidate’s overall attitude and commitment to the ultimate success of this detached community is unmatched.

Category 35 – Sales Team of the Year

Team or Individual that has overcome sales challenges, excelled at home financing, building referrals, handled closings smoothly, construction and escrow coordination, and ultimate buyer satisfaction. Candidate’s overall attitude and commitment to the ultimate success of this attached community is unmatched.

Entry Requirements

  • Candidates of individual categories must submit a written statement, 300 words or less, describing exemplary performance and achievement.
  • Candidate is required to submit a color photo.
  • Entries will be judged on the candidate’s positive aspects and measurable work performance. Community service and BIA|Bay Area involvement will also be considered as judging criteria.
  • Categories 32 thru 37 candidates must be SMC members and membership must be in good standing, both at the time of submission and at the time the award is presented.
  • Entries for categories 32 thru 43 will be pre-judged through the written statement. The top entrants will continue on to the personal interview.
  • Categories 32 thru 43require a 15-minute personal interview on Friday, March 9, 2018. Candidate must be available on this day for an in person interview. Live video interview will be considered for special circumstances. Interviews will be held at Mason-McDuffie Mortgage Corporation, 2010 Crow Canyon Place, Suite 400, San Ramon. Candidates will be contacted with a specific interview time by Friday, March 2nd.
