The staff of Police Station Khyala, West District has done an excellent work by arresting one notorious bootlegger namely Jhagroo @ Sonu and seized 48 quarters of illicit liquor, which are permitted only for sale in Arunachal Pradesh, from his possession.

INCIDENT AND TEAM
A secret information was received to the officials of PS Khyala that some bootleggers are involved in smuggling of illicit liquor, which is not permitted for sale in Delhi.On receipt of the said information, a team consisting of HC Rajender Kumar No. 550/W and Ct Sajjan No. 3129/W was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Tanvir Ashraf, SHO Khyala to nab the bootleggers.
On 24.04.2014, the said team was patrolling in the area and at about 10:30 PM, HC Rajender and Ct Sajjan found that one Jhagroo, BC of PS Khyala, is on the way to C-Block, JJ Colony, Khyala alongwith one plastic katta (bag).On suspicion, he was got stopped and on checking, one carton containing 48 quarters of Besto Whisky, NV Group 180 ML, which is permitted for sale only in Arunachal Pradesh were recovered from the said katta.Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 304/14 dated 24.04.2014 u/s 33/38 Delhi Excise Act was registered in Police Station Khyala.He was arrested in the said case and investigation is on the way to ascertain the source of supply.

The staff deployed in beat area of PS Punjabi Bagh was sensitized for keeping watch in the area to nab the bootleggers involved in supplying the illicit liquor.On 24.4.14 a secret information was received to HC Narender Singh No. 1658/W& Ct. Sujeet No. 1689/W, who wereon patrolling duty that a bootlegger namely Vinod Kumar @ Ghasita has brought illicit liquor in his house .Immediately a raiding party was formed to nab the bootlegger.At about7.00 PM when staff reached in front of D-225 Madipur Colony Delhi, theyfound that the accused was carryinga cartonin his hand and shifting it inside his house. Two cartons of liquor were found containing 23 half bottles of Masalear Deshi Sarab “Gulab “ from each cartoon. The accused has been arrested in this case.

AUTO-LIFTER ARRESTED

INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION:-
On 24.04.2014, an information was received to SI Sandeep Dabas, I/C Anti Snatching Cell/ West District that an Auto-lifter will come in the area of P. S. Punjabi Bagh to sell the stolenvehicles. Immediately, a team comprising the staff of Anti Snatching Cell/ West Distt. and ASI Raj Kumar and Ct. Rajkumar, No. 814/W of Police Station Punjabi Bagh was formed, working under the leadership of Addl. DCP-I/ West Distt. The team so formed started picket checking in front of Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, West Avenue road, Punjabi Bagh.
At about 11.00 PM, the team spotted a Honda City Car No. UP 16 A 5310, which was forced to stop at the picket. The driver was asked about the ownership of the car, but he could not give satisfactory reply and tried to mislead the team. On enquiry he told his name as Ankit Sehgal S/o Narender Sehgal R/o House No. 216, Govind Khand, Jhilmil Colony, Delhi. On further enquiry it was found that the car is stolen vide FIR No. 234/14, P. S. Vivek Vihar. Accordingly he was taken into police custody and the stolen vehicle was also taken into police possession.
The accused was put to sustained interrogation and he confessed to have stolen Honda City Car from the area of Punjabi Bagh. The vehicle was also recovered from J-Block Market, Rajouri Garden on his instance. On enquiry the vehicle was found stolen vide FIR No. 277/14, U/S 379 IPC, P. S. Punjabi Bagh.
INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI
During the course of investigation, the accused disclosed that he resides with his family at the above given address. He studied upto 8thstandard. Thereafter he started doing private job and presently working as Omni-shade repairing in the nearby locality. Though he was not earning much to subsist and was heavily debt. Thus he planned to steal cars and further sell them to meet his requirements. He stole the cars and kept them in safe side to search a suitable customer to sell them and earn quick money. Further interrogation of the accused is in progress to get lead in other cases also.

TWO ROBBERS ARRESTED
The staff of PS Kirti Nagar of West District has arrested two robbers namely Shekhar @ Ashok and Jeetu @ Jatin and solved a robbery case FIR No.269/14, U/s 392/34 IPC registered at PS Kirti Nagar on 24.04.14.

On 24.04.2014, Sh. Sanjeevan R/o Beri Bagh, Subhash Nagar, Delhi, age -19, parked his vehicle near metro station Ramesh Nagar. When he returned around 2:00 pm, four persons assaulted him and robbed his Nokia Mobile phone, ATM card and Rs.5000/- by using force and fled away.In this regard, a case FIR No. 269/14, U/S 392/34 IPC was registered in PS Kirti Nagar.
INVESTIGATION & OPERATION: -
Immediately a team comprising SI RajPal, HC Ram Bachan, 239/W & Ct. Nitin, 1411/W was formed under the supervision of Insp. Ram Kishan Yadav, SHO/ Kirti Nagar, under the overall supervision of Sh. Eish Singhal ACP(IPS)/Rajouri Garden. The team took up investigation and conducted raid at different Places like IndraPuri, Basai Darapur, Raghubir Nagar, Moti Nagar for the search of accused. An information was received that the accused persons are hiding in Bander Wali Khui Ramesh Nagar. Then a raid was conducted at bander wali khui Ramesh Nagar and two person namely Shekar @ Ashok and Jeetu @ Jatin were arrested and one mobile phone Nokia, SBI ATM Card and Rs.300/- were recovered from their instance.

Mohkam No. 3113/W, of PS Mayapuri, on the basis of developed criminal intelligence arrested one Proclaimed Offender namely Prem Chand @ Prem Khurana, who was declared P.O. on 13.09.12, in Case FIR No. 41/09, u/s 498A/406/34 IPC PS CAWC Nanakpura, Delhi. Arrested accused was avoiding his presence in the Court and hence was declared P.O. after due process of 82, 83 Cr. PC by the Hon’ble Court of Ms Tyagita Singh, MM, Dwarka Court. Arrested P.O. has been produced before the concerned court and has been remanded to judicial custody.

Two desperate burglars of “Suresh & Ashu” Gang apprehended and a gang of desperate burglars busted who specifically committed/ targeted Reliance Retail Stores in Delhi

With the arrest of two desperate burglars namely Dev Jaishwal S/o Sh. Sonelal age 26 years r/o H.No. 62,Village Sarai Peepal Thala, Azadpur New Delhi and Shiva age 21 years s/o Rajkumar R/o A-119, Om Vihar Phase – V, Uttam Nagar New Delhi, local police of Police Station Kalkaji has busted“Suresh & Ashu” gang, which specifically targeted Reliance Retail Stores in Delhi.Five cases of night burglary at Reliance Retail Stores, reported in different Police Stations of Delhi have been solved with their arrest.

INCIDENT:-

On the intervening night of 20/21.04.2014, HC Arun Kumar No. 1268/SE P.S Kalkaji was patrolling along with Const. Ajay No. 716/SE.During patrolling one Sh. Sabbir Ali S/o Sh. Abdul Aziz R/o House No. WZ-621, Naraina Village, New Delhi approached him and introduced himself as Asstt. Manager, Security & Loss Prevention at Reliance Retail Ltd.It was further informed that some suspicious boys were roaming around Reliance Store situated at B-89, A/1 Main Road Kalkaji, New Delhi.HC Arun Kumar No. 1268/SE along with Ct. Ajay Kumar and Mr. Sabbir Ali went there and found some persons standing near a Maruti Eeco Car bearing registration No. DL-9CAB-8796, which was parked in front of the said shop, while one of them was trying to break open the shutter of shop.Without wasting any time the policemen pounced upon them and overpowered one person, who was later identified as Dev Jaishwal S/o Sh. Sone Lal. Two heavy iron rods, one screw driver and one wire cutter were recovered from his possession.Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 346/2014 dated 21.4.2014 u/s 457/380/511 IPC was registered at PS Kalkaji.

INVESTIGATION:-

In order to bust the whole gang, a team headed by SI Jitender Malik and comprising of SI Satvinder, SI Shahabuddin, HC Arun Tyagi No. 1268/SE, HC Harish Chandra, No. 675/SE, Ct. Amit No. 3622/SE, Ct. Dharmender No. 944/SE was constituted, under the supervision of Inspr. Brijinder Singh SHO/Kalkaji and under the overall supervision of Ms Usha Rangnani (IPS), ACP/Sub-Div. Kalkaji, New Delhi.

During interrogation, accused Dev Jaishwal revealed that he along with his associates namely Suresh, Suraj, Ashish @ Ashu, Jeetu, Sunil and driver Shiva hatched a conspiracy to loot Reliance Retail Store in Kalkaji and for this purpose, they had conducted reccee of the area, before targeting it.He also revealed that earlier too they have committed thefts in various other Reliance Retail Stores in Janak Puri, Ashok Vihar and Mukharjee Nagar.During further investigation, one of his associates namely Shiva S/o Raj Kumar R/o A-119, Om Vihar Phase-V, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi,was also arrested in this case, at his instance.Further investigation of the case is in progress to identify and arrest remaining accused persons.
