OBJECTIVE
To explore the area of Medicinal Plants, method development for its active constituents isolation, Phytochemical investigation, characterization and their pharmacological screening for various biological activities. Training the research students in Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, developing newer technique in Herbal Formulations, Biotechnological aspects and HPTLC profiles.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 1990 – PRESENT
1. Academic experience in teaching Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry since 1990 to the Diploma, under graduate, Post graduate and Doctorate, students.
2. Guided 9 Ph.D. and 20 post-graduate students
3. Presented 64 Scientific papers at National and International Conferences and published 78 scientific research papers in National and International Journals.
4. Attended 12 National and International Workshops conducted by various organizations like APTI, IPA, Ethno pharmacology, Universities etc.
5. Attended 4 Quality Improvement Programmes sponsored by AICTE conducted by KLES’s College of Pharmacy, Belgaum and University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Warangal, on Training teachers for Tomorrows need, Tissue Culture and Biotechnology, Herbal Drug Technology, Herbs as a Potential source of Biomedicine.
