Workshop Objectives

-To field test the OER and educational design learning modules

-To provide a walk-through start-to-finish of the OER production process

-To teach participants how to record sound and video

-To provide participants with the basic skills to edit HTML, sound, and video

-To instruct participants on open source and proprietary applications that may be used for OER production

-To introduce participants to Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, Soundbooth, and Camtasia

Logistical Requirements

-All participants should come with their own laptops and necessary software installed

-Data projector

-Extension cord*

-Flip video camera*

-Lavalier Microphone*

-CD with all necessary materials for hands-on exercises (OER and educational design learning modules, template, example content)*
