Falcon Flyers
Dear 5th Grade Parents, August 28, 2017
Welcome to another year of Falcon Flyers Choir! As a returning member, it is not necessary for your child to audition this year. We know from their dedication and talent that having them in the group will truly be an asset.
The Falcon Flyers uniform has not changed. Therefore, previous members can use the same choir shirt. However, an order form will be provided to purchase a new shirt if you so choose. A new item for this year, though. Please purchase a simple folder for your child to keep their sheet music in. All choir members will bring their folder to every rehearsal this year.
The choir will meet this year on Thursdays from 3:45 PM until 5:00 PM, as well as some additional rehearsals prior to some performances. We have six performances scheduled for this year, two in November, two in December, one in March, and the last in May. Each choir member will receive a calendar of events that states all rehearsals and performances.
We hope to see your child at the first rehearsal on Thursday, September 14, 2017. At that time, we will send home the entrance letter/permission form, choir contract, and choir registration form. These are the same forms from last year. It is requested that these forms be signed so thatwe have your permission on record for this school year.
