11:50-12:10:If the morning class has not already made- Fill 1 bleach bottle solution. Bleach is located in kitchen ( 1T bleach to 1qt of water). Fillwater pitchers (2) with water ½ full. Set snack in baskets to serve during snack time. Set outtongsor serving spoons in baskets to encourage children to serve themselves. (Do notfill basketsall the way up) Set out cups and napkins on each tray. Wipe place mats. Besure to checkthe allergy list.
12:10-12:25:Join us at the rug for circle time.
12:25-1:05: Supervise Sensory table and car/trucks area and dramatic play area.Interact
with all children in these areas. Rotate in and out of these areas.Remind children to keep
materials in the area where they belong and to put a toy away when finished playing.
1:05-1:10: Assist children in cleaning up the classroom and then bring out sponges and give to children to assist with washing tables.
1:15: While the children wash hands spray tables with bleach water andset place mats on tables.( If possible snack helper can assist by handing out placemats) 5 children to each of the two tables. Please do not set snack out at this time.
1:20-1:35:After we say our “thank you”, set snack and water pitchers on table. If a child spills allow them to help wipe it up. Sit with group of children at snack time. Engage them in conversation and encourage good manners. Remind them to clean their own place mats off and then they may join story time on the rug.
1:35-1:50: *If our ratio is maintained outside or downstairs, you may vacuumall rugs and sweep while we are outside at this time. If not it will need to be done after class. The vacuum is located in hallway closet.Check and empty vacuum. Clean snack counter with bleach water. Wipe placemats and wash any dirty dishes. Rinse sponges with bleach solution from spray bottle.
1:50-1:55: Assist with hand washing in the far yellow bathroom.
1:55-2:00:Join us for goodbye circle.
