JOB DESCRIPTION – IT Support and Development Analyst
LOCATION: 7-8 Sterling Buildings, Carfax, Horsham, West Sussex
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Missing Asset Services Worldwide is a small privately owned company located in the centre of Horsham. We are specialists in Probate Support and Asset Recovery, identifying, pursuing and recovering lost or unclaimed assets on behalf of our clients, both private and corporate.
Our staff have identified and recovered assets as far back as the late 19th century right up until the present day. These assets have included bank accounts, investments, artefacts, safe deposit boxes, properties and much more. We also analyse if there are additional, unrealised assets due to them. We also offer an additional ‘Heir Hunter’ service whereby we identify dormant/unclaimed assets and trace the beneficial owners both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?
We are seeking an Intern who will be able to help us with some really interesting developments which will give you great experience in helping to deliver worthwhile projects whilst giving you an insight into this fascinating business. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be working alongside a team of researchers, investigators and administrators and will liaise with our external web design company.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Working with the external web design company to assist in the design and delivery of an on-line booking and payment system for new e-commerce services
· Reviewing systems and processes identifying ways to improve the way data is captured, managed and manipulated
· Reviewing case management system and identifying and implementing customisation changes
· Reviewing and recommending changes to the website to further develop the Company brand
· Making suggestions for use of social media and blogs to improve our on-line marketing and writing content
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
· Undergraduate or graduate in IT or an alternative degree where IT, mathematical & analytical skills are a key component
· Knowledge of web development and database management systems
· Analytical skills
· Ability to write accurately and creatively
Desirable
· Interest in history, good geographical knowledge
· Interest or experience in marketing, brand management
· Work experience in IT
