Position Summary:
Reports financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts and reports. Works across the organization with functional leaders to identify and implement solutions that improve internal controls.

Essential Responsibilities:
·  Collect, analyze and disseminate accurate financial reports with variance explanations to senior management and owners
·  Provide leadership team with financial insight regarding acquisitions and strategic investment projects
·  Assist in developing an internal controls program and approach
·  Identify, prioritize and lead internal control projects throughout organization
·  Conduct reviews of internal control project reports, work papers, and make necessary recommendations to management
·  Follow-up on recommendations to ensure implementation is complete
·  Plan and lead meetings with management and other stakeholders during internal control reviews
·  Coordinate insurance programs and provide management with tools to identify and assess risk
·  Maintain knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, internal control and specific industry-related practices
Travel Responsibilities:
·  Less than 10% travel to other Waupaca Foundry locations
Basic Qualifications:
·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in either a public accounting audit function or an internal audit role for publicly-held company
·  Prior experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting required
·  Ability to understand processes and internal controls and the ability to assess the adequacy of their design, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
·  Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Excellent organizational and project management skills
·  Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment
Preferred, but Not Required:
·  CPA and/or MBA
·  Manufacturing industry experience
·  SAP experience
