1 / Access Leads. /- Login to Partner Center
- In the Sales Administration Menu, click Lead Management to launch Salesforce.com
- In theSalesforce.comNavigation Links, clickLeads
2 / View Lead records. / Select the View All Accepted & Assigned Leads
Accepted Leads
- Leads that you have Accepted
- Partner Promoted Leads
- Full Lead profile
- Leads assigned only to you
- Minimal Lead profile
- Leads assigned to two or more Partners
- First come – first served
- Minimal Lead profile
3 / eMail Notification of new Leads. / By default, Lead Administrators receiveeMail notification for each new Lead. To “Opt Out” of eMail Notification:
- In theSalesforce.com Navigation Links, clickSettings
- Check the Lead Email Opt Out box
4 / Accept a Lead. / An Accepted Lead is “owned” by you and full Lead Profile data are displayed
- Select the Lead
- Click Accept
5 / Reject a Lead. /
- Select a Lead
- Select a Rejection Reason
- Click Reject
- Lead is returned to Autodesk or sent back to the pool if appropriate.
6 / Transfer a Lead. / Assign an Accepted Lead to a new owner and notify them
- Click
- Click to search for the new owner
- Must be a Salesforce.com User
- Check Send Notification Email to notify the new Lead Owner
7 / Update | Edit a Lead. / Only the Lead Owner can Update | Edit a Lead record, e.g., adding Call Notes.

8 / Converting a Lead to an Opportunity. / 1.In the Lead record, click
- ClickYes
- In the Opportunity
- Projected Close Date defaults to the last day of the current Fiscal Quarter
- Add Product(s):
- Scroll down to Products
- ClickAdd Product
- Select the appropriate Product Line(s), Product Type and License Type & Estimated Number of Seats
9 / Register an ACE Opportunity. / Register Opportunities with ACE-eligible Products
- At the top of the Opportunity record clickRegister Deal
- Continue with the ACE Opportunity Program process for your country.
