To University Employees:
Parking permits for Faculty/Staff, OPSnon-studentand Adjuncts are now available for the 2017/2018 school year. Per University Parking and Traffic Regulations, all Faculty/Staff, OPSnon-studentand Adjuncts who regularly operate a motor vehicle on University property must register their vehicle, purchase and displaya parking permit. OPSnon-student and Adjunctsare not eligible for the payroll reduction payment option.
Parking Permit fees for 2017/18:
- Faculty/Staff Annual Permit $118.00(Permit $111.32 + Sales Tax $6.68 = $118.00)
- Faculty/Staff-OPS Employee Annual Permit $30 (payroll reduction not authorized)(Permit $28.30 + Sales Tax $1.70=$30)
- Faculty/Staff Reserve Annual Permit $535.00 (if a reserved space is available/select only with prior approval)(Permit $504.72 + Sales Tax $30.28 = $535.00)
- Adjunct Annual Permit $30.00(payroll reduction not authorized)(Permit $28.30 + Sales Tax $1.70 =$30)
- Faculty/Staff Term Permit $60.00 (payroll reduction not authorized)(Permit $56.60 + Sales Tax $3.40 = $60)
- LEEDS approved Annual $94.00(Permit $88.68 + Sales Tax $5.32 = $94) / LEEDs approved Reserved $511.00(Permit $482.08 + Sales Tax $28.92 = $511.00)
You must log onto Gulfline to request your permit for the 2018permit year and print the permit request form to obtain your permit. Please note that this is a three step process as described below.
Step 1
Request a Permit:
- Log onto your Gulfline account at
- Click Employee , Parking Services, Request a Permit
- For permit Type, choose the appropriate payment option from the drop down menu. This step does not complete the payment process. Please see Step 2.
- Print the Permit Request form.
Step 2
Make aPayment:
- Payroll Reduction (limited to Faculty/Staff)- Option is only available during the fall term for annual or reserved parking permits for full time employees. Payroll reduction is a non-refundable, pre-tax qualified parking benefit.
- Payroll Reduction request must be completed through theGulfline Open Enrollment process.Pay special attention to the detailed step-by-step instructions, which can be downloaded at byclicking on Parking Permit Instructions.
- For employees purchasing multiple permits (paying for someone else), obtain and complete a payroll reduction form from Parking Services.
- Once the Open Enrollment process is complete, bring/send Permit Request form to Parking Services. Gulfline Open Enrollment takes overnight to process and inform Parking Services that you have made payment arrangements.
- Cash, check, or credit card at Cashier’s Office- Payment by cash, check, or credit card may be made at the Cashier’s window in McTarnaghan Hall. However, Parking Services must place the debt for the permit on your account prior to making payment at the Cashier’s Office. Please contact Parking Service to post this debt. After making payment at the cashier’s office, you must bring or send your receipt via inter-office mail to Parking Services to obtain your permit.
Step 3
Obtain Parking Permit from Parking Services(McTarnaghan Hall room 142):
A permit will not be issued unless payment or payment reduction information has been received by Parking Services. Once you have requested your permit on Gulfline for the 2018permit year:
- If paying by payroll reduction(see above) wait until the day after enrollment to obtain permit.
- Pick-up your permit from the Parking Service office(bring permit request form from Gulfline and proof of payment) OR
- You may send your permit request form to Parking Services via interoffice mail. Once processed, your permit will also be returned thru interoffice mail.
Application for an acceptance of a permit shall be deemed an acknowledgement of the requirements of an agreement to adhere to the parking regulations. Please review the Parking Services web site and the University Parking Regulations prior to parking on campus.
