Sir/ Madam,

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that the exhibit/ model/ project on______put up by your school team at Regional level Science Exhibition has been selected for participation at the National level Science exhibition. Please accept my heartiest congratulations on this achievement and convey the same to the students and the teachers associated with this endeavour.

The following points may please be taken note of with regard to the participation in the National level exhibition:

b)The exhibition will be held on 18th and 19thOctober, 2006(two days). All participating

schools are requested to report at the venue school on 17th October latest by 12.00

noon.

c)Every invitee school is required to submit a copy of this participation letter received from CBSE at the time of registration at the venue school. This may be treated as very important and essential condition for participation.

d)The venue school at Gurgaon is locatedapproximately at a distance of 30-35 kms from Delhi/ New Delhi railway station on the road going from Dhaula Kuan, Delhitowards Gurgaon/ Jaipur also called National Highway-8. Please find enclosed a copy of the road map from Dhaula Kuan to venue school. It may be added that the place called Dhaula Kuan in South Delhi is located at a distance of approximately 10-12 kms from Delhi/ New Delhi/ Nizammudin railway stations. You may contact the venue school on telephone or fax for further information related to the same.

e)The school team should comprise of a maximum of two students and one escort teacher. However, in case of two exhibits from the same school, a total of three students may be allowed to participate.

f)The participating schools are required to make their own travel arrangements and lodging/boarding arrangements at Gurgaon. A list of suggestive hotels/ guest houses in Gurgaon near the venue school is enclosed for your ready reference. You may also contact the venue school for further information in this regard. The Principal of the venue school has been requested to extend all possible help to participating schools in this regard.

g)All expenses will be borne by the participating teams/ schools.

h)On reaching the venue school, the school team is required to report to the Principal and get registered for participation on submitting a copy of this letter. The exhibit/ model should be arranged at the space provided for the same. The exact requirement for display of the exhibit – space required, electricity connections, board, water etc. may be communicated to the venue principal well in advance. The confirmation of participation may be immediately sent to the principal of venue school along with the following information under different heads. This may be treated as urgent.

i)The exhibits will be evaluated by a team of subject experts. Twenty best exhibits/ teams will be given certificate of merit and a cash prize of Rs. 3000/-( Rupees Three thousand only) each.

j)The timings of the exhibition will be from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm on both the days. The teams are required to report at the venue at 8.15 am on the first day.

k)The letters of invitation to all eligible individual schools have been dispatched by speed post.
