To provide all elementary principals, assistant principals, and teachers teaching mathematics with information about professional development offerings for the 2016-2017 school year.
The Department of Mathematics is providing principals, assistant principals, and elementary teachers teaching mathematics with information regarding Professional Development (PD) offerings for the 2016-2017 school year.
The attached document is a calendar with the meeting dates for the scheduled sessions; please note that locations will be listed in MyLearningPlan at least two weeks prior to the actual meeting date.
Unless otherwise noted, the six-hour sessions will be scheduled as follows: begin at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30p.m.
One to two sessions will be provided for each region in the months of October, December and February and June.
oWhen two sessions are available, content will be tailored for grade K-2 and grade 3-5 teachers separately; teachers are to register for the session of the grade-level band for the grade level they teach.

  • Teachers must pre-register for the course through the employee portal and accessingMyLearningPlan. Under the Activities Catalog link, click on District Catalog to view the District’s PD offerings. Click on the course title to register. Click on Join Wait List. Please note that registration should be available in MyLearningPlan.
  • Please register only if you are certain that you will attend; otherwise, you are taking a seat from another teacher that would benefit from this professional development.
  • Walk-ins will not be accepted.
Course Requirements:
  • Upon successful completion of the entire course, including completion of the MyLearningPlan Evaluations, participants will receive 7 Master Plan Points.
