Special Services
This Sunday evening, please join us as we observe the ordinances of Holy Communion (i.e., Eucharist, Greek word meaning Thanksgiving) and Feet Washing. Please prayerfully prepare to participate in these most sacred ordinances as we give thanks to God for our redemption through the forgiveness of sins! In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, Ephesians 1:7, NKJV.
Thanksgiving Food Pantry & Hospital Snacks
Our Food Pantry this month will focus on Thanksgiving meals. Donations of foods for November are frozen Turkey Breast (or whole Turkeys), Green Beans, Potatoes, Stuffing, Candied Yams, etc. No
“out of date” items please; with cans, “pop tops” preferred. We also need snacks (individually wrapped) for the hospital waiting rooms.
A bin has been placed in the foyer for your generous contributions.
85th Anniversary Commemorative Cookbooks
Commemorative cookbooks are available for a suggested donation of $8.50 each for Paraguay Mission Trip Expenses. See

the holiday; however, we will have CIMs on Mon, Nov 19th, and
Prayer Meeting on Tues, Nov 20th, for those who can attend.

HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF EFFORT
As Hurricane Sandy continues to wreak havoc on the East Coast, our International COGOP offices are contacting ministries that were in the path of Hurricane Sandy. Together we wish to respond to the emergency needs of our churches, members, and ministries in this sudden crisis.
Your offerings to the relief efforts will help ensure we have the resources required to respond effectively. Local churches may donate through Harvest Partners (Level 2-Special Projects) funds.
Therefore, at Ward Ave COGOP, we will receive a special offering for “Hurricane Sandy Relief” that will be used to give assistance to our church members in crisis on Sunday morning, November 25th, 2012.
Please be sure to designate your gift or offering as

for their personal ministry use. Our goal is $100 each month. We need 15 people to give $7 each month. Would you help?

Goes directly to the upkeep of the Promiseland Camp
Grounds and camping program In Paraguay.
L2 – SafeHarbor
Goes directly to the support of the Children’s
Home at Promiseland Camp.
L2- Edu Fund
Promiseland Education Fund .Goes directly to the
children of Safe Harbor Home to further their education
L2- Special Projects
