TEAM SELECTION NOTIFICATION
Dear Parents,
Congratulations ! Your child has been selected to play in the Lytton District ____ Team which will be participating in the Metropolitan East Selection Trials.

These trials are for the selection of the Metropolitan East Team, which will then compete in the State Championships later in the year where your child has the opportunity to be selected to play for the State.

Transport
All players will travel by private transport, if you have a problem with private transport please see your team manager on the above number to arrange alternative transport.
Medication
If your child has to take medication could you please send it in a bag with your child, clearly marked with instructions so that it can be administered. Parents you must also fill out the medication form.
Canteen
There will be a canteen operating for lunch items to be purchased.
Costs - District Levy/Apparel
The levy is set to cover all costs associated with the team such as ground hire, referee’s, team costs, trophies, equipment, First-Aid Officer and the general costs of running a carnival. The uniform requirements for members of this team are listed on the Apparel Order Form. Some items are compulsory and others optional. Please indicate which of the compulsory and optional items you require.
Payment must be received by your MANAGER in full by ______(at first training session???) and should be made payable to your MANAGERS school where a receipt will be issued.

Dress
All team members are requested to be dressed in the Lytton District uniform which consists of a shirt and black shorts. Bottle Green, Red & White are the Lytton District Colours. If your child has already got a shirt there will be no need to order another.

Other Relevant Information
Codes of Behaviour
Players and Parents/Spectators attending the forthcoming trials should familiarise themselves with the ‘Codes of Behaviour’ attached. Please read these carefully and thoroughly, as failure to comply with these could result in a player being unable to compete in School Sport events in the future.
Whilst the concerns of parents/guardians are appreciated, it must be understood that team managers and coaches are qualified and experienced.
· Their job is to manage and coach the team members and develop team spirit.
· Parents/Guardians’ co-operation and understanding is expected.
Team Officials are permitted to seek medical attention if deemed necessary with parents/guardians being responsible to meet costs incurred.
