HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT
The Pupil will undertake to:
- recognise and be receptive to the Quaker ethos as the foundation for learning and social environment
- attend school regularly and on time
- bring all the equipment needed every day
- wear the school uniform and be tidy in appearance
- do all class work and homework and ask for help when needed
- be polite, helpful and respectful to all members of the school
- keep the school free from litter and care for the school environment
- obey school rules as outlined in the Pupil Handbook
- uphold the good reputation of the school at all times.
The Parents/Guardians will undertake to:
- recognise and be receptive to the Quaker ethos as the foundation for their child’s learning and social environment
- see that their child goes to school regularly, on time and properly equipped, correctly dressed in school uniform and tidy in appearance
- make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect their child’s work or behaviour
- support the school’s policies and guidelines for good behaviour
- support their child in homework and other opportunities for home-learning
- attend Parents’ Evenings and discussions about their child’s progress
- get to know about their child’s life at the school
- work with the school to achieve the best for their child.
The School will undertake all reasonable steps to:
- care for your child’s safety and well being
- ensure that your child achieves his/her potential as a valued member of the school community
- provide a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs of your child alongside the needs of other students
- achieve high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility
- keep you informed about general school matters and about your child’s progress in particular
- be open and welcoming and offer opportunities for you to become involved in the life of the school.
