1. Approval of agenda: unanimous
2. Open Forum
3. Officer Reports
President: Maggie attended the Senate Steering meeting. Internship opportunities at
the 13 colleges were discussed. The next meeting is January 19th, 2005. If anyone has
any suggestions, let Maggie know.
Vice President: David has not had any meetings yet. He reminded everyone of the
Constitutional Review meeting after SGC. He also informed the group about the
Disability Resolution.
Executive Director: Sarah has not had any meetings yet.
Budget Senator: Renat has not had any meetings yet.
Other Committee Reports: None
A) Dan mentioned that those who were joining us via compressed video will have
a shared governance guide mailed to them. He also mentioned the search and
screen for the UC LBGTQ Director, the Executive Director, and the Women’s
Issues Director that will be held in January. If anyone wanted to be a part of the
search and screen, they should have let Dan know.
4. New Business
A) Disability Resolution (David Herrick)
David explained that this resolution came from Madison, and our support is wanted. David wanted to know if we could pass the resolution at this meeting in order to give SGC support. It was noted that there is $.5 million for disability purposes at each campus, but the Governor should be adjusting this in the next biannual budget. (David read a copy of the resolution) . He will email anyone who would also like a copy. The floor was then opened to questions.

5. Old Business
A) It was decided that next semester’s meetings should be held as follows: one face-to-face, one video conference, and one face-to-face with optional compressed video. The face-to-face meetings will be either held at Fond du Lac or Baraboo. The dates are as follows:
B) February 11: This will be via video conference from 3pm-5pm.
C) March 11: This will be face-to-face at either Fond du Lac or Baraboo. The Constitutional Review Committee will meet from 5:30pm-6:30pm. The actual SGC meeting will be from 7pm-9pm.
D) April 22: This will be face-to-face and via compressed video at either Fond du Lac or Baraboo from 6pm-7pm. It is important that we fill quorum since we will be electing new officers.
E) Maggie called meetings to a vote. Trent seconded.

F) Campus Reports
Marinette: Brian and Russel reported that they are working on having more to do in the student union. They are also planning to participate in the College Bowl with other campuses around the state. If any other campuses are interested, there will be a regional meeting in Eau Claire.
Sheboygan: Sheboygan reported that they are currently working on budget concerns and maintaining a quorum of students on their SLIC Committee. They suggested posting the SGC minutes on the web site as well.
Richland: Richland just passed their budget. They also had a dance and are planning holiday activities on campus.
Marshfield: Marshfield is working on getting reimbursement for child care. They are also working on their field trip policy and are planning a poker tournament in February.
Washington: Washington is working on getting things ready for next semester, such as meeting dates and elections. They are also thinking about doing a mural on campus.
Marathon: Marathon is sponsoring a family for Christmas. They also did a drive for the troops, and they did 12 Days of Wellness. They are working on getting clubs funded and possibly adding a coffee house to their union.
Fond du Lac: Fond du Lac had a blood drive, and they are starting a Safe Space program in spring. They are currently working on a food/coat drive, and adding a new organization, the Student Multicultural Organization.
Baraboo: Baraboo has lost some advisors, but they have a good group and are optimistic. Their campus is looking at building “green dorms” which are environmentally friendly. They are also setting up a dodge ball tournament.
Fox: Fox had a fall food drive, and they are planning a formal at a country club. They have a record year of enrollment and an excellent president.
6. Other Business
A) There is a Student Leadership Conference on January 12-13 in the Dells. It starts at noon.
7. Motion to adjourn by Washington County. The motion was seconded by Baraboo.
