NEWS & NOTES

ANNUAL VOTERS’ ASSEMBLY – Our annual voters’ assembly is scheduled for next Sunday, January 29th, immediately following our worship service. We will be voting on the following slate of candidates for church council: President – Alfred Eickhoff; Vice President – Richard Zentner; Secretary – Terri Messner; Elder – Dana Rathje; Trustee – Adam Eickhoff; Evangelism – Don Baldwin; and Parish Education – Shelly Leyden. The installation of officers will be held the following Sunday, February 5th.

THRIVENT MEETING – A short quarterly meeting of Thrivent members will be held today immediately following our worship service.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY – A Financial Peace University Class is going to be held beginning February 12th at 4:00 p.m. here at Christ Lutheran Church. This 9 week class will teach people God’s way of handling money. Participants will learn from Dave Ramsey’s materials on saving, giving, and budgeting, just to name a few.
