Amdocs procurement is looking for a Global Procurement Manager to lead the Procurement Services domain.
Role Definition:
Procurement services manager will be responsible E2E for all procurement team dealing with Services in Amdocs, including staff augmentations, offshore services, SOW services projects supporting the business, internal IMIS projects, professional services and consulting. The responsibility covers managing a global team of approximately 20 people, leading all the negotiations related, managing the vendors, defining the company working procedures for services and leading all the related internal interfaces.
Below are the main role R&R’s:
- Lead and create a centric knowledge base in Amdocs for managing efficient and low risk services engagements with vendors.
- Establish and Implement procurement services strategy for the specific domain and a corresponding implementation work plan.
- Development and execution of all the sourcing initiatives in the domain, including involvement in the demand management stage, through comprehensive leadership of the negotiation, timelines and resource plans.
- Develop procurement best practices within the service domain to directly contribute to Amdocs business growth.
- Analyze domain's market global trends so as to develop services procurement strategy from demand through execution.
- Supervise Supplier relationship management within Amdocs and serve as escalation point
- Position himself as a trusted advisor and expert to Amdocs management.
- Develop, train and establish a services profession within the procurement.
- Active role in leading and pulling the services organization to adopt best practices and advanced methodologies in procurement
- Establish the service orientation within the procurement in order to support the business needs and impact the company efficiency.
- Strive to improve company EBIT by increasing efficiency and productivity, in alignment with company strategy and guidelines
Additional personal experience:
- Deep knowledge in how to acquire services in two type of models, a delivery base project or Staff augmentation models
- Deep knowledge in working with Amdocs management team at all levels, understanding how Amdocs delivers project including the main roles and activities – advantage.
Critical Experiences and skills:
- At least 15+ years of experience as procurement manager
- Familiarity with the Services world - Professional services, Contractors and SOW type of engagement - must
- experience in Delivery & implementation of project - advantage
- Excellent ability to negotiation with international vendors- must
- Experience in managing global teams – advantage.
