After-Hours Contract Screeners
Professional Counseling Associates (PCA) is looking for bright, eager, and energetic professionals to join a pool of providers for after-hour, rapid emergency screenings and assessments in a three county area. (Pulaski, Lonoke and Prairie counties) This contract position interfaces with psychiatric facilities and programs in advocating clients’ placement in least restrictive setting, when appropriate. Contractors are expected to maintain positive provider relationships with community organizations, agencies and hospitals and provide customer service consistent with PCA’s goal of excellence and professionalism. Shifts for emergency services are nightly from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. the following morning, Monday – Friday. Weekend shifts are from 8:30 a.m. Saturdays to 8:30 a.m. Mondays. Contractors have flexibility to determine which days work best for their schedule.
Applicant must be a qualified mental health professional as defined by State Standards for Community Mental Health Centers. Past experience in mental health work is preferred, especially in mental health emergency and crisis management and triage experience.
Applicant must have one of the following credentials: LCSW; LPE; LAC or LPC; or RN with a minimum of one year of mental health experience. All licensures must be valid in the state of Arkansas.
Valid Arkansas Driver’s License and Insurance.

*Adult and Child Maltreatment Registry background checks are required.
*A criminal background check and drug screening is required.
