TEXT OF MEMORANDUM SUBMITTED TO THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dated:15th December, 2010

The Managing Director,

State Bank of Patiala,

Head Office,

PATIALA.

Dear sir,

REG: HOUSING LOAN – ENHANCED LIMITS;

REIMBURSEMENT ON ROOT CANAL TREATMENT;

REIMBURSEMENT OF COST OF PETROL

At the outset we thank you for considering enhancement of Vehicle Loan to Award Staff along with reduction in rate of interest and margin on the lines available to the employees of State Bank of India.

We now request you to kindly revise the Housing Loan Scheme to be on par with State Bank of India Employees. We understand that several other Banks like Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda etc., have also revised the Housing Loan Secheme for their employees.

We also request you to consider reimbursement of cost of Petrol to all the employees in Award Staff cadre. We understand that several Banks including State Bank of India have been reimbursing cost of petrol to their employees.

Similarly, the reimbursement of Root canal treatment is being extended to Officers only and the same needs to be introduced for the Award Staff Employees also.

Although these issues have already been taken up by the SSBEA with State Bank of India Corporate Office, we find that no meeting is taking place for various administrative reasons by State Bank of India. Any delay in extending these benefits to the employees will only result in denying them of the benefit. Our employees have been looking for these benefits to be introduced in our Bank, which we are sure, will go a long way in enhancing the Industrial Relations.

We look forward for your positive response.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

SD/-
