Christ Chapel Academy Summer Camp 2018"Shipwrecked-Rescued by Jesus!"

Graduating Kindergarten-Graduating 8th Grade

Welcome to Christ Chapel Academy’s Summer Camp 2018–Shipwrecked-Rescued by Jesus! There are a wide variety of activities planned for your child this summer. In addition to swimming almost every week, we will have a bible theme, daily worship time, a field trip and plenty of outdoor activity. There are a few basic requirements for summer camp. We appreciate your help with this so that camp will be fun for all. Labeling personal itemswill help identify each child’s items and cut down on replacement costs (especially camp shirts).

Bring with you:

 WATER BOTTLE

 Sun block (labeled with your child’s name)

 A backpack to store items; please no roller backpacks

 Change of clothes (stored in a zip lock bag)

 An open mind and good attitude

Wear:

No open toe or backless shoes. Our feet need to be properly covered for the amount of outdoor activity that we have. Flip flops are permitted for pool and water play; pack tennis shoes for before and after pool

activities.

 T-shirts must have sleeves, no spaghetti straps, tank tops or halter tops

 Short length is to be a modest length, at least to the fingertips

 One-piece bathing suits are required for water play and pool time

Electronics:

Christ Chapel Academy is not responsible for any lost, stolen or broken devices. Electronics are not used during camp time.

 Cell phones need to be left in child’s bag.

 Cell phones are for emergency purposes only.

First Day of Camp:

 Kindergarten students report to room 107

 1st grade students report to room 108

 2nd and 3rd grade students report to room 109

 4th – 8th grade students report to room 111

 Praise and worship will be held in the youth room most mornings at 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.

Your teacher will provide you with a list of additional items that you may need to bring.
