If you had unlimited time and resources, what would you choose to do?I would open up a career and activity center and have counselors available for middle and high schoolers (those no longer eligible to be in daycare) to keep them productive.

What are the most important things in your life?Faith, family and FUN!

What do most people not know about you?I survived a plane crash in 1986

What is something about you that would surprise other people?My sons and I met members of the band KISS and had our photo taken with them before taking a seats in front row at their concert in Hampton VA 2009

What is your favorite childhood memory?Travelling to Ireland to see my grandparents/cousins

What is your favorite music and bands?I like everything except for rap and heavy metal (unless it’s a ballad). I went to Nashville this year for the first time and attended a show at the Grand Ole Opry. I grew up with Hee Haw, Lawrence Welk, Ann Murray, Air Supply, REO Speedwagon, Don Hensley, Tracy Chapman, Bonnie Rait, Whitney Houston, KISS, etc.

What are your hobbies?I love to write, collect coins and Boy Scout patches, teach Sunday School class, go to baseball games in D.C., Pittsburgh and NY to see my NY METS and shoot hoops.

Geez, anything else?.I am first generation American – both my parents are from Ireland. If you look up Hanna’s Close in Northern Ireland (Mourne Mountains), you will see Tommy’s house. That was where my mom along with her 6 siblings were born – in a one-bedroom cottage
