Event packages include face painting and/or balloon twisting for the kids.
Party Decorations are due and payable in full at time of ordering/booking of party. Party Decorations are Non-Refundable due to Maribel Valenzuela will not be able to resale such decorations.
Travel fees for out of town Events required. Fees are $1.50 per mile. One way. 20 miles or more from my location.

A signed agreement and a 50% deposit are required to secure the booking date. The 50% Deposit and Party Decorations are non-refundable should the client decide to cancel the event. In the case of postponement, Artist will work with you to accommodate an alternate date, one time. However, if a mutually agreeable date is not determined the deposit is retained by Artist.

Client agrees to, and understands the following: All guess having their face painted hereby give Maribel Valenzuela owner of Face Painting by Maribel the right and permission to copyright and use, photographic portraits or pictures of any personal who may be included intact or in part, made through any and all media now or hereafter known for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose. In addition I, hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless Face Painting by Maribel, from any liability, that may occur or be produced thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

OUTDOOR FACE PAINTING EVENTS: Client must provide a shaded area during day light hours, and well lighted area for night time events. And must be setup out of windy areas.
Limitations on Artwork: Artist will not paint any part of body that is illegal to expose, or any place she does not feel comfortable painting. Artist will not paint any design or wording that is obscene,
Offensive, or defies good taste. Artist may refuse to paint any symbols or other illustrations that are commonly attributed to “gang” or other illegal group affiliations.
Extreme Adverse Working Conditions: Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme; inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; illegal activities; dangerous weather or work environment conditions; dangerous conditions in general. Our company will not cancel but we will agree to a rain date if discussed TWO days before day of event.
Liability Statement: Artist is not liable for any parties’ allergic reactions to paints. Only FDA compliant paints and cosmetic grade glitters are used for face painting. Children with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the party for safety reasons. For sanitary reasons, Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: coughing, cold sores; conjunctivitis; any infectious skin condition; eczema or open wounds. Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property.
Artist will not supervise children. The behavior and safety of all children and adults is the Parents’ responsibility, and not the Artists. Artist cannot see other children and what they are doing while she is painting.
Artist agrees to provide services of general face painting using only FDA approved products on said dates with acceptance of 50% deposit. Balance due at end of Event.
For any reason, should Artist be unable to accommodate your paid booking, a full refund of your deposit will be returned to you or you may receive your next event for the equal amount of time with no further payment required. Client agrees to pay the unpaid balance of booked time upon Artist arrival at event.
Overtime: Any time beyond the time booked will cost $150.00 per hour. Overtime can be divided into ½ hour increments at $75.00 per ½ hour. However, only booked times with deposits are guaranteed, additional time on day of event may not be available, although Artist will attempt to accommodate requests for additional paid time.
The client will be responsible for any fees or expenses, including attorney’s fees, incurred in connection with collecting delinquent amounts owed to Maribel Valenzuela under this Agreement.
This contract does not go into effect until the 50% deposit and signed agreement is received, all dates and times are agreed upon by both parties as listed on page one of this contract and both parties have signed this agreement.
Artist looks forward to making your event special and memorable. We encourage you to contact the Artist if you have any question or concerns. We will work with you as best we can to accommodate your requests to ensure the participants have a fun and enjoyable time!
Outdoor Events: We strongly suggest air filled decor for these events. We make every attempt to have your décor looking its best at the time of assembly. However we have no control over the weather, (rain, wind, etc.) and therefore cannot guarantee outdoor decor. Normal oxidation (clouding look)will occur on latex balloons used outdoors. We use only professional quality latex balloons, heavy duty cord and wire to secure all outdoor events.
Please be aware that certain balloon decorations, such as Columns, Arches and custom designed balloon décor, require support structures that must be returned to Maribel Valenzuela. Maribel Valenzuela requires a $20.00 deposit on each support structure. Support structures are to be returned to Maribel Valenzuela by the following day after the event. In the event that these items are not returned the following date of event or returned damaged, the deposit will be non-refundable. Some of these items can be costly, so please watch over their safety while in your possession.
Weather:Weather conditions are unpredictable. Maribel Valenzuela reserves the right to cancel any event/s due to bad weather, including but not limited to, rain, sleet, snow, ice and wind. Maribel Valenzuela will not put any personal associated with Maribel Valenzuela in harms way due to bad weather. Balloon House will work with Client to accommodate an alternate date, one time. However, if a mutually agreeable date is not determined the full payment is retained by Maribel Valenzuela.
