**The Veteran Horse Society Scottish showing series 2014 kindly sponsored by Allen & Page quality horse feeds. Are qualifiers are open to both Members & Non Members of the Veteran Horse Society. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of the VHS. They can be found at No galloping or spurs are permitted in the ring. Basic walk, trot and canter. Mark system will be generally: condition & movement in relation the age and turnout. Stallion handler or rider must be over 16yrs. Turnout in accordance with breed. All competitors must be compliant with VHS rules and regulations. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Scottish Veteran Horse of the year final in September. The same veteran and handler/rider combination carry the qualification, there is no exchange of horse or rider is accepted.

PLEASE NOTE THE GRAND PRIX CLASS WILL BE RUNAS A NORMAL SHOW JUMPING CLASS, ALL CLEAR ROUND’S WILL LEAVE THE RING AND THEN JUMP OFF OVER A HIGHER JUMP OFF COURSE.

No nomination entriesClasses will be amalgamated if insufficient entries

Classes may clash, but we will do our best to avoid this, if this happens you will have to choose.

Entries in novice classes never to have won more than 2 working hunter classes

No one entering classes 47,48,43,44,45. and 46 may do the Grand Prix Class.

Classes may not run in schedule order, so please be there in plenty of time to avoid disappointment.

No liability is accepted for any injury, loss or damages to competitors, spectators or property whatsoever.

The correct headgear must be worm throughout the day, comforming to the British Standard PAS 015, EN1384 and ASTM/SE. Hats may be checked
