Mi Casa, an exceptional turn of the 20th Century Caribbean hacienda, is the perfect venue for special events. Built over an existing structure and now distinguished by its classic architecture, Mi Casa is an impressive open air plantation home, featuring interior patios, balconies, high ceilings with traditional wood beams, red tile floors antique Caribbean ceilings and a impressive colonial style staircase.
The spectacular view of the valley, lake, golf range and El Yunque Rainforest make this facility ideal for weddings, reunions, banquets and other special group events. The two-story hacienda can accommodate up to 240 guests in round tables and up to 308 guests in rectangular tables. If more space is needed, the surrounding green fields are suitable for placing tents. Mi Casa provides a private room for meetings of up to 35 people with air conditioning and glass windows to appreciate the Valley. There is also a private deluxe suite for personal use and individual, overnight stays.

Events and Activities:
Aug 30 Friday: rehearsal dinner at a private section of the Hacienda. We extend an invitation to all of our guests. Kyriakos and I will be providing shuttle service to and from the El San Juan Resort at 5:30pm.
Sept 1 Sunday: The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Mi Casa at the Hacienca. Again, we will arrange for shuttle service from El San Juan Hotel at 3:30pm.
4:00pm: wedding ceremony starts, followed by cocktail hour
6:00pm-12:00am: reception
Dress Code:
- For Men: light pants with a breezy shirt, you don’t need to wear a tux or formal suit. A nice shirt and pants are appreciated.
- For Women: light dress / sundress
The weather around this time of year is typically in the mid to upper 80’s and humid.
Other:
We don’t recommend rental cars as the hotel / resort is only 10 minutes from the airport with plenty of public transport. Driving can be quite challenging unless you know the area well. If anyone does decide to rent a car, you can do so at the airport or near the hotel.

Puerto Rico does feature some of the most beautiful and breathtaking attractions including a Rain Forest, visiting local islands Culebra and Vieques, Old San Juan (only minutes from El San Juan Hotel), as well as outstanding golf resorts in Dorado.
