To All Patrons of the 2015 Concert Season:
We wish to thank you for your most generous support of the Lyric Band's Concert Series, by being a patron and/or attending our concerts. Last year was our 47th consecutive season of free concerts at Codorus State Park. The Lyric Band and other participating groups performed for approximately 6 to 7 thousand people last season. Our concert series for 2016 will begin on Sunday, May 29th and continue for 15 weeks until September 4, 2016.
As in the past, the Lyric Band will also be performing concerts at the Warehime-Myers Mansion located on Baltimore St. in Hanover, PA. The Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 concert dates and times will be announced during the summer concert season. The Lyric Band continues to be dedicated to promoting concert band music and to "Enrich People's Lives through Music and the Arts." The cost to present all of our programs is approximately $20,000. Funding for these performances is provided by you, the patrons of the Lyric Band.
In addition, we will be producing a program booklet that will contain advertisements from local businesses, patron's names and other information. All monies generated from patrons and business sponsors will be applied to "The Lyric Band Concert Series". Your contributions are tax deductible, as the Lyric Band is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
