1993-1994- Physical Conditioning Studio, Houston Tx. Certified as a Pilates instructor following completion of course work and apprenticeship.

1978-1980- University of Texas, Austin Tx. Drama Major.

Danced the lead role in “Giselle”under the direction of Igor Youskevitch..

1978 Summer- Foreign study program in Europe through the Eastern Michigan University. Three months intensive study of history and art history.

1977-1978- Texas A&M University. College Station, Tx. Psychology Major.

1972-1975- School of American Ballet, New York City, NY. George Balanchine, Director. Awarded full scholarship from the Ford Foundation to study ballet and received a secondary education at the Professional Children’s School.

Primary teachers in dance were Alexandra Danilova, Felia Doubrovska, Suki Schorer Muriel Stuart Antonina Tumkovsky and Stanley Williams.

Took classes from David Howard.

1971-1972- Ballet Jeunesse, Dallas Tx. Natasha Krasovska, Artistic Director.

1971 Summer- San Francisco Ballet School, San Francisco, Ca. Harold Christensen, Artistic Director. Awarded full scholarship from the Ford Foundation to study ballet.

EXPERIENCE:

1994-present- Pilates instructor for private and semi-private clientele.

2004-present- Faculty in Dance Department at the University of Houston, Houston, Tx. Teaching ballet on all levels.

1995-1997-Jewish Community Center, Houston, Tx. Instructs adults and children in ballet. Pilates Instructor.

1994-1999- Pilates Instructor. Eastside Studio, Houston, Tx.

1981-1994- Houston Ballet, Houston, Tx. Ben Stevenson, Artistic Director. Dancer in the Corps de Ballet Appearing in classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works in the United States, Canada, England, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, Scotland ,Switzerland ,Luxembourg, Jakarta, and Singapore.

Teachers included Ben Stevenson, Oscar Escauriaza, Carmen Mathe, Hiller Huhn, Richard Munro,

Clara Cravey and Dennis Poole. Houston Ballet Academy, Teacher for adults and children.

1975-1976- Lyric Opera Ballet, Chicago, Il. Maria Tallchief, Artistic Director. Worked under direction of George Balanchine during choreography and performance of Orpheus and Eurydice. Under direction of Maria Tallchief and George Balanchine, performed in several of Mr. Balanchine’s ballets.
