Late daily work will be accepted within two school days of the due date for a maximum score of 70%. After the second day late work will remain a 0.

Tests and quizzes must be made up outside of class within the district guidelines (see below).

District Makeup Work:

  • Students are permitted to make up work missed for both excused and unexcused absences.
  • Schoolwork missed due to short-term absences, 3 days or less, may be made up after the student is well and returns to school. Failure to complete work in the scheduled time will result in work being subject to the late work policy. It is suggested that a student be absent 3 days before requesting make-up work.
  • Upon return to school, a student will be responsible for obtaining any required missed instruction and completing the make-up work inclusive of assessments in a satisfactory manner and within the time specified by the teacher. Generally, one day for each day of absence is allowed.
  • Semester exams are recorded as a “0” until make up. Fall semester exams must be made up within a week (5 working days) of testing date. Spring semester exams must be made up on the campus determined designated day for each subject.

Calendar:

  • Nine weeks calendars will be posted on teacher’s website.

Tutorials:

  • I will be available for tutoring most mornings from 7:15 – 7:35 a.m. and most afternoons from

2:50 – 3:30 p.m. If I am absent or not available any teacher in the math hall will gladly help you!

  • See tutoring schedule on teacher website or outside teacher’s classroom.
Nine Weeks Tests:

The test will be given during the last week of the nine weeks and will contain material from all topics discussed during the grading period. The nine weeks test grade will count as a major grade but can also replace the lowest test grade.
