12U Travel Baseball

The 2014 12U Canton Cardinals are a travel baseball team affiliated with the Greater Canton Youth Baseball Softball Association (GCYBSA). They are comprised of a talented and dedicated group of young boys with a passion for baseball and a determination to reach their potential. This year’s team will be competing in games with other top travel teams in our area as well as competing in 6-7 tournaments in the metro Detroit area.

As you can imagine, the costs of operating this type of team are high. These costs include indoor practice facility rentals for our winter workouts, uniform costs, equipment, field rentals, umpire fees, and tournament fees. Parents sacrifice a tremendous amount to provide these youngsters with the opportunity to not only develop their skills as they pursue their dreams, but also to put them in an environment to grow in character, discipline and leadership ability to prepare them for life.

We recognize that times are tough, and budgets are tight, but are asking for your partnership in sponsoring our team and supporting this important endeavor. As mentioned above, this year’s team will be competing in several local tournaments, as well as traveling to Cooperstown, New York for a tournament near baseball’s Hall of Fame. Last year, four of these tournaments were extremely popular in our own community of Canton, including the State AA Tournament and the AA World Series at the end of July. We expect to provide similar promotional opportunities for your business again this year.

We are offering five sponsorship levels, each of which comes with it’s own recognition and promotional opportunity for your business or organization. In addition, the Canton Cardinals are a non-profit charitable organization, so your sponsorship is tax deductible. All donations over $250 will be displayed on our team banner, which is displayed at all games (approx. 50 games) and posted on our team website:
