Slope of the sliding ways, tan = 1/12
Distance of the aft perpendicular from the water level, p=0 m.
Length of the sliding ways, Lsw = 0.8*L
Wetted graund ways, = 0.1*L
Total weight, WT = 0.7 *?LWL
Total breadth of the sliding ways, b = 0.3*B
Note that the waterlines at various distances from the aft perpendicular down the ways on the profile of the ship, si=p+i , i=0,2,4,6,8,10
Then, read off the immersed sectional areas from the bon-jean curves and calculate the buoyancy and its longitudinal center using the Table 1.
Static calculations can be carried out by using the Table 2.
Pressure calculations can be carried out by using the Table 3.
Dynamic calculations can be carried out by using the Table 4.
