1. General information

- Born in Pesaro (PU), Italy, on 10th September 1975.

- Graduated in Medicine at the University of Ferrara (2002), Italy.

- He completed his residency in Radiology at the University of Udine (2006), Italy.

2. Clinical activity

- He started clinical activity in 2006 as staff radiologist at the Institute of Diagnostic Radiology of the University Hospital of Udine “S. Maria della Misericordia”. Since 2008 he covers the academic position of "Ricercatore" and “Professore Aggregato” (equivalent to Assistant Professor) at the same institution.

- Clinical activity is focused on abdominal, gastrointestinal and urogenital Magnetic resonance imaging and Computed tomography.

3. Scientific activity

- Main field of scientific activity is body MRI, with special focus on hepatic, pancreaticobiliary, gastrointestinal and prostate imaging.

- He collaborates with the breast imaging equip of his institution with the specific task of study design and data analysis. He was involved in clinical implementation of new technologies, such as Automated breast volume scanner (ABVS).

- Interested in radiological applications of Information theory.

- Joint School for Radiographers of the Universities of Udine and Trieste (since 2016);

- School of Medicine of the University of Udine (since 2016)

- School of Biotechnology of the University of Udine (2008-2011)

Main courses are focused on CT and MRI physical principles and technique.

·  Tutor of several medical students and residents in Radiology.

- Vice-president of the Joint School for Radiographers of the Universities of Udine and Trieste since 2015

- Member of the Technical and scientific group for the PACS system of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region

- He participated as moderator or invited speaker in national and international Congresses, including ECR and ESGAR.
