The Caravan of Liberty at Moi University was the first with a tweaked

programme, it was more involving and certainly more exciting for the

students it allows the students to learn and interact with issues in

libertarianism in an engaging environment.

Going forward we believe that we need to come up with increasing

interaction between us (The Eastern African Policy Centre) the students

we take our outreaches to.

We are looking at avenues of holding Inter-varsity debates and debates

from Universities across countries.

Report Summary

The Caravan of liberty- Kenya seminars between 23rd October and 30th October 2013, had a considerable measure of success. The experience of Mr. Olumayowa and Isack Danford went along way into helping The Caravan of liberty- Kenya gain experience in carrying out libertarian events and outreaches. Within the period we reached out to 390 students. We were able to identify leaders who are going to lead the Libertarian Eastern Africa Students for Enterprise Development (EASED) in various campuses. The snowball of Liberian students and students group is growing and we hope to keep the momentum.

Way Forward

Mr. Olumayowa Okediran, Isack Danford and I (Alex Njeru) agreed to come up with a common Strategic Action Plan for the Eastern Africa Region, that will among other things;

·  Accelerate the spread of libertarianism among stduedents in the Eastern African Region

·  Rope in partners with the same vision

·  Bring libertarian students from all countries within the Eastern Africa Region Under one roof to learn more about social, economic, political and economic freedoms and their importance in the regions development

·  Develop sufficient and comprehensive, support structure for libertarian student groups in Campuses and universities.
