DAY CAMP COMING TO OUR AREA

INSERT CHURCH NAME HERE and Camp Mount Luther are partnering in ministry this summer, bringing fun, fellowship, and the love of God with this year’s Day Camp program. Mount Luther sends trained staff to lead children and youth from Kindergarten through sixth grade in a weeklong day camp. The camp, will be held from INSERT TIMES AND DATES HERE at the church at INSERT ADDRESS OF CHURCH OR SITE.

Day Camp is a terrific way to introduce a summer outdoor ministry experience to children and youth who aren't sure if they're ready to spend the night at camp. Each day at day camp is an example of human kindness, cooperation, and joyful enthusiasm; these are the benefits of spending time in an intentional Christian community. It is staffed by trained counselors from Camp Mount Luther, Mifflinburg, in cooperation with members of the hosting congregation. The trained staff, volunteers, and clergy make it a point to illustrate a loving and caring environment for all campers. A typical camp schedule includes morning devotions, games, arts & crafts, Bible study, sports, music, special events, and worship. The 2018 curriculum theme is “Awesome God, Awesome Love,” which explores how God has shown great love for Biblical characters and does for us, too.
