Welcome to Hollywood!

Room 43

I am so excited for you to begin second grade. We are going to have a fantastic and fun year. Don’t forget school begins on Thursday, August 24th. Our first day of school is a full day. School dismissal is at 2:50 pm. You will need to bring money to buy lunch or you can bring your lunch. You will also need to bring your snack and drink, if you didn’t purchase a drink from school. Don’t forget to bring your backpack and any school supplies your mom or dad didn’t bring to our meeting on August 22nd.

Love,

Mrs. Klupchak

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Willow Second Grade, Room 43. I am so happy to have your child in my class this year. I look forward to a successful and productive year.

I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Michelle Klupchak. I live in Homewood with my husband Bob. I have three amazing children, Zach, 26, who was married this summer to my beautiful daughter in law, Lexie. Kelly, 24, Illinois State University graduate, Abby, 21, a senior at Butler University, and our dog, Beau. My children all attended HSD153!

I was born and raised in Homewood. I love Homewood and am so proud of its wonderful community and schools.

I firmly believe that we should work together as a team to enrich your child. I believe in a happy and positive environment in order to build a positive self-esteem. I want to establish a strong foundation to build on for their education.
