of the Project / 1. Project Name: Self-cleaning Nano Coating for the Surface of Computer Fan
2. Project Introduction: The computer fans are heavily utilized every day. The cooperative partner is the biggest producer of computer fans in the world, accounting for over 50% of the world's productivity. The products are usually supplied to many famous customers, such as Lenovo, DELL, Hewlett-Packard, etc. By mixed applying nano-photocatalysis materials, low surface energy materials and certain appropriate solvents, the producer manufactures the composite coating suitable for the surface of computer fan. A functional coating with a thickness of 2-5um can be formed on the surface of the computer fan blades when utilizing proper technique to paint. Further, there is a UV LED mounted on the outer frame of the computer fan, and the LED keeps illuminating the fan blades. Thus, an electrical-energy fan comes into being, enjoying multi functions, such as self cleaning, antibiosis, purifying the organic polluted gases, etc. If such kind of fan is installed into the computer, its blades will not easily become dusty and can also clean the surrounding air, which meets the demands of the market. As a matter of fact, this Project is entrusted to develop by AVC, the biggest producer of electrical-energy fans in the world. Upon the completion of the processes of coating and painting, this Project aims to establish a production line of automatic painting with a monthly productivity of 1200K, so as to provide such products to AVC. The initial market for this kind of products shall be Lenovo.
3. Specific Requirements:
Technology: catalytic purification technology for air cleaning, aiming at the treatment of pollutants with large airflow and low-concentration, the removal of waste gases discharged form industrial painting and the effluvium from sewage plants and refuse processing plants.
4. Equipments: atomic force microscope, coating thickness tester, HVLP precision spray gun, dustless spraying chamber, testing chamber, formaldehyde tester, VOC tester, ozone tester, laser particle counter, weighing-type particle analyzer, sulfur dioxide tester, dual-channel digital storage oscilloscope, nitrogen oxide tester, high-voltage parameters on-line tester, anodic oxidation apparatus, etc.

By importing the advanced technical equipments from Japan, our Company was the first to realize the industrialized production of new TF fiber connector in the world. Compared with the technical equipments in the past, the new TF fiber connector is much better. For one thing, it doesn't need expensive tools or equipments to connect fiber and the running time is only 20 seconds. For another thing, the general expense for fiber connecting is only half of that for heat sealing. Introduction of the Project / 1. Project Introduction: We have established a Research & Development Center for Semiconductor Lighting Technology in Malaysia according to the scale of provincial-level engineering centers in China. The main subjects researched are listed as follows:
1) To improve the LED packaging technology and increase the luminous efficiency to 120-150lm/W, so as to meet the requirements for both interior and exterior lighting;
2) To optimize the lighting technology of power-based LED street lamps, improve the stability and evenness of light beam and increase the luminous efficiency, so as to fully satisfy the lighting requirements of street lamps and take the place of the currently used high-voltage sodium lamps; aiming to open a branch of lamps and lanterns in Malaysia and carry out industrialized production.

Project Target: The Engineering Center aims to organize a team of professional researchers reaching internationally advanced level and to set up a number of advanced laboratories, to recruit certain excellent technicians specialized in semiconductor lighting, and to form a team of about 50 researchers by the year of 2010 according to its development planning.

Its current cooperation with the Company focuses on the development of new functional children shoes; more details are listed as follows: RS Lab/RSscan assists the Company in the performance-based design of children shoes so as to protect the children and ensure the comfort. According to different situations of the children's feet, flatfoot and hollow foot for instance, RS Lab/RSscan also designs different products with different functions. In addition, RS Lab/RSscan helps the Company to design personalized service system in the stores. This system is able to conduct a biomechanical test to each child who comes to buy shoes and then help to select the suitable shoes for the child according to the test result. The enzyme activity is stable under 0-60℃ and PH3.4-10.0 and will sustain for two years under room temperature. The chemical nature of this enzyme is protein, without residues and toxicity. It can also provide proteinic nutrition to the human body. Further, it is able to kill both gram-negative bacterium and gram-positive bacterium. At the same time, it can restrain and kill the fungi and certain insects. Presently, this kind of enzyme has been granted 3 patents.
