2018Scholarships include:

  • Seattle Nursing Research Conference Quality Improvement and Evidence Based Practice Conference (SNRC), Seattle, January 30 31, 2017 - Five $240 Conference Registration Scholarships to support nurses in the advancement of evidenced based practice and research by attending the SNRC Conference. Application deadline November 1, 2017

Ten $200 ONS Web Based education scholarships to support nurses in meeting their personal lifelong learning goals as cancer care evolves with new research outcomes and treatment developments.

  • Registration scholarships for PSONS 40th Annual Oncology Nursing Symposium, March 2-3, 2018 at Lynnwood Convention Center, Lynnwood, WA.

Seven - $240.00 Symposium registration scholarships to support nurses in the Puget sound Region in ongoing education, networking and career development.

  • Non-Puget Sound ChapterMember Scholarship for thePSONS 40th Annual Oncology Nursing Symposium,March 2-3, 2018 at Lynnwood Convention Center, Lynnwood, WA.

TwoScholarships up to $750.00– include symposium registration plus $500 for food, travel, and lodging to support nurses outside the Puget Sound Region in ongoing education, networking and career development.

  • ONCC Test Registration

Five - $286.00 certification registration scholarships for any oncology related certification exam.

Purpose: To support nurses who are committed to oncology nursing. Up to 5 applicants will receive registration reimbursement for an ONCC certification examination or renewal by Option 1 (ILNA Points). The non-transferable awards must be used for an ONCC certification registration for the year awarded

  • Ellen DeBondt Memorial Poster Development Scholarships

Two - $250 scholarships to support the development of a poster to be presented at a local or national oncology conference, poster development mentoring is available.

  • ONS Congress scholarships to the ONS 43rd Annual Congress, May 17–20, 2018 ● Washington, DC

Three - $2,000.00 scholarships to support a registered nurse interested in improving cancer care by developing their personal knowledge as a result of attending the ONS Congress and sharing this new knowledge with others.

  • National Oncology Specialty Conference-i.e., Breast, Radiation Oncology, BMT, Hematology, etc. Conference to be attended by December 2018.

One - $2,000.00 scholarship to support a registered nurse interested in improving cancer care by developing their personal knowledge as a result of attending a national oncology focused conference and sharing this new knowledge with others.

and is eligible to receive a scholarship from each category only once.
