Following lunch please be at the church by 1:30 Sunday the 6th. We will be staying the night at ZP Church in Zoinsville, IN. 7 hours away.

What to Bring
- Casual Clothing
- Swimsuit (1 piece for girls, 2 piece with a shirt)
- Change of Shoes (in case one gets wet)
- Jacket, Sweatshirt- (It may be cold)
- Sleeping bag OR sheets and a blankie, plus a pillow
- Bible, notebook, pen
- Extra spending $$ - Band CD’s, T-shirts
- Clothes for the Crud War- probably throw aways
- Toiletries
- Pajamas or what you sleep in
- Swimming towel, Bathing towel
- Eno (optional) It’s a hammock
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
What NOT to Bring
- Shaving cream, other supplies for pranks
- Fireworks
- Electronic devices (cell phones, ipods, etc) These will be taken up at the conference so you can focus on Jesus. They won’t work well there any way. And no wifi.
- Illegal substances
Directions to Green Lake Conference Center
Take I65 North to Indianapolis to Zionsville. We will be staying at ZPC Church.
Continue on I65 North toward Chicago, IL.
Take 1-90 West near Chicago to connect with 1-94 toward Milwaukie, WS.
Merge onto Loop West I894 toward Fond du Lac.
Merge onto Hwy 41 North
At Fond du Lac head West on 23 to Ripon
Proceed on 23 til you see Green Lake Conference center on your Left.
Head to Conference Center
The Browning Rule-
Browning’s word is law. Break it and he’ll break you!
- The Purpling Rule-
Guys are blue, Girls are Pink.Mixed they make purple, and that would
stink. Stay out of each others dorms!- NO PURPLING
- The No Excuse Rule-
Attendance at all scheduled meetings is mandatory.
- The I’m Not Tired Rule-
YES YOU ARE! Lights out means lights out.
- The “I Don’t Know ” Rule-
I better not hear this from you when I ask where your counselor is.
Counselors should know where you are at all times.
- The “OOOPS” Rule-
No food or dishes are to leave the mess hall, cafeteria.
- The “I’ll pay for It” Rule-
If it’s broken, yes you will.
- The Stupid Rule-
If you think you are doing something stupid and will probably get in trouble for it, then you probably will, so don’t!
- The “We told you not to Bring It” Rule-
We told you not to bring it. Thanks for your contribution to our contraband pile.
EXTRA INFO:
Free Time = Fun Time
CraftsHead to the bottom level of the Auditorium for a different craft each day, to make bracelets or to help build your crew’s cardboard boat for Friday’s race!
Games at the Beach Gather some friends and compete in different games each day.
Swimming Cool down or play some water basketball in the lake.
Carpet Ball Challenge your friends to this classic game by the beach.
Recreation Hut (near Lone Tree Point) Rent paddle boats, kayaks and canoes to take out on the water with your friends! Rent a frisbee for the new frisbee golf course or pick up any type of ball you can think of to create your own fun.
Snak Shak Bring some cash and grab some delicious ice cream, candy, or soda pop at the Shak next to the beach.
Tournaments
Daily tournaments take place each day for you and a team from your church. Tournament Locations will be announced during afternoon sessions. Show up at 3:30 p.m. to register.
Tuesday:Volleyball, Chess
Wednesday: Basketball, Spelling Bee
Thursday: Soccer, UNO
Friday: Triathlon, Carpet Ball, GaGa
Important Information
Armbands
Armbands must be worn AT ALL TIMES. You can’t eat without them! $1 charge if you lose or break your armband. See your head counselor for replacements.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found can be turned in and collected on a table outside of the Dining Hall.
Mail can be sent out through the front desk. Mail from home will be given to your head counselors on a daily basis.
Medical Help
Steps to take if you have a medical problem:

✦Tell your head counselor
✦See the nurse on Green Lake’s staff during daytime hours

In case of emergency, move quickly to one of the following locations:

Liability Release, Discipline, & Refund/Cancellation Policies
I, as a parent or guardian of this camper, understand that St. James takes reasonable precautions to insure that SJUMC programs and activities are conducted by qualified personnel in a safe and responsible manner. However, I further understand that these activities involve certain risks and may include, but are not limited to: horseback riding (including the inability to predict a horse's reaction to sound, movements, objects or animals, and the inability to predict the hazards of surface/subsurface conditions), ropes course, climbing, zip-lines, swimming, diving, water sports, land sports, archery, boating, scuba diving, bicycling, hiking, amusement park rides, bus trips, weather conditions, plants, insects and rugged terrain. I recognize these risks and agree to assume these risks by allowing my camper to attend SJUMC events and participate in these programs. I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless SJUMC, SJUMC Staff members , their officers, and employees from all liability for damage, injury, death or illness to my student or his/her property relating to or deriving from my students presence at youth events or participation in SJUMC sponsored trips and activities whether arising from an act or omission, negligent or otherwise, by the releases or otherwise to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Discipline
I understand that if, for whatever reason, my child causes damages, that I will be responsible for the payment of those damages. I further understand that if my child has discipline problems that the staff and leadership deem severe enough to send my child home, that I will be financially responsible for the costs associated with his/her return and that I will not be reimbursed any monies already paid as a result.
Refund/cancellation
I understand my deposit is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation of an event all monies are refundable.I have read and understand the contents of this application including the Liability Release, Discipline Agreement, and Refund/Cancellation Policies.
