A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 77290, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN GREENWOOD COUNTY, SO AS TO ADD THE ANGEL OAKS CROSSING AND GRAHAM’S GLEN PRECINCTS, TO REDESIGNATE THE MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THE NAMES OF THESE PRECINCTS MAY BE FOUND AND MAINTAINED BY THE REVENUE AND FISCAL AFFAIRS OFFICE, AND TO CORRECT OUTDATED REFERENCES TO THE REVENUE AND FISCAL AFFAIRS OFFICE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 77290 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 142 of 2014, is further amended to read:

“Section 77290. (A) In Greenwood County there are the following voting precincts:

Angel Oaks Crossing

Graham’s Glen

Greenwood No. 1

Greenwood No. 2

Greenwood No. 3

Greenwood No. 4

Greenwood No. 5

Greenwood No. 6

Greenwood No. 7

(B) The precinct lines defining the precincts in subsection (A) are as shown on the official map P4714 designated as document P4717 on file with the Office of Research and Statistics of the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office and as shown on copies provided to the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Greenwood County. The official map may not be changed except by act of the General Assembly.

(C) The Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Greenwood County shall designate the polling places of each precinct.”

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
