Standardization Transaction Less than $50,000

The Agency will create a DAS-Bid to initiate a Standardization Transaction.

Navigation: eProcurement > Create Requisition

1.  Define Requisition:

a.  Name the requisition or it will default to the requisition number.

b.  Choose DAS-BID in the Core-10 dropdown box.

c.  Add the Vendor, Buyer, Category and Unit of Measure.

d.  Enter the appropriate Chartfield information.

e.  Click on the CORE-10 Attrib. Link .

f.  Enter the Plan Start date

g.  Check the Standard Trans. check box.

h.  Click OK

a.  Click Continue.

2.  Click on the Add Items and Services link

a.  Click on Special Request Tab


Click on Special Item

b.  STX should be entered as the first 3 characters in the description line so that Approvers can identify Standardization Transactions in their Worklist.

c.  Add the Price, Quantity, Category, Vendor ID, and Unit of Measure.

d.  Click Add Item.


Click on the Review and Submit Tab.

e.  Click on the Comment bubble

f.  Click on the Add Attachment button.


Click on the Browse button.

g.  Once any supporting documentation is found, upload it by clicking on the Upload button.

NOTE: Additional attachments may be added by following the same steps, however only one comment or attachment may be entered on the header. If multiple comments and attachments are required they must be entered on the line.

h.  Click the OK button once completed.


Click the Save & Submit button to initiate workflow.

The requisition will now be in “Pending” status.

3.  The following Requisition Approvers must take action:

Ø  Req. Amount Approvers

Ø  Req. Budget Approvers

Ø  Req. Purchasing Approvers


The Requisition Amount, Budget and Purchasing Approver will approve the transaction.


Once it is routed to the DAS Approver 1 (Contract Team Leader) they will ad hoc a Contract Specialist into the workflow and then approve the requisition so it can be reviewed and processed.

4.  The Contract Specialist will:

a.  Approve or Deny the requisition.

b.  Provide the agency with the Standardization Transaction Form ST-84. (If approved)

5.  The Agency must then (If Approved):

a.  Create a ticket in Footprints requesting the Core-CT Help Desk to convert the requisition into a contract and provide the following information:

Ø  Approved/Denied

Ø  Business Unit

Ø  Requisition ID

Ø  Vendor ID

Ø  Start and End Dates and

Ø  Total Dollar Amount

b.  Attach the Standardization Transaction Form ST-84 to the Footprints ticket.

6.  Core-CT Help Desk will run the process to convert the requisition to a contract and attach the Standardization Transaction to the contract. Then notify the agency. (The contract will be in Open status).

7.  The Agency must update any necessary information and approve the contract.

8.  If the requisition is denied, the agency should log a Footprints ticket and checked the denied box. The Core-CT Help Desk will run the process to close the requisition.
